Recipe for oatmeal with banana

Here is a simple and delicious recipe for oatmeal with banana:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup oatmeal
1 cup of milk (or water for a lighter version)
1 banana, chopped
1-2 tablespoons honey or sugar (to taste)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla sugar (optional)
Walnuts or almonds for decoration (optional)

Instructions:

In a saucepan, combine oatmeal, milk (or water), chopped banana, honey (or sugar) and vanilla sugar.

Put on medium heat and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to a minimum.

Cook the oatmeal, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes or until it is ready and of the desired consistency.

If desired, add more honey or sugar to enhance the taste.

Serve the oatmeal hot, garnished with walnuts or almonds if you want to add extra texture.
